Bruce of Kinnaird Tartan Kilt
The Bruce of Kinnaird tartan has a rich heritage and tradition and is a vibrant and colourful rendition of the famous Prince Charles Edward Stuart tartan.
Wilsons of Bannockburn registered this clan tartan, which relates to the Bruce family, Kinnaird, a very significant family also remembered in a coat worn by the Bruce family in the 18th century. This tartan was approved in 1953 by Lord Bruce of Kinnaird and it is a wonderful honour to the noble ancestry and a great acknowledgment of Scotland's rich history. Although this tartan is now woven at Anderson of Galashiels, the subtle nuances and historical depth of this tartan continues to pay homage to a bygone era that links the wearer to generations of Scots who have loved their family ties and cultural heritage.
