The MacCorquodale Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a colorful blue-based tartan with striking black and orange hues. Made from 100% Acrylic Wool, it can be used for made-to-measure products and accessories. The clan's homeland was to the west of Loch Awe in Argyll, an area with spectacular Highland scenery. The MacCorquodales, who were the last of the chiefs of the clan to die in the 18th century, have no legal rights or standing in terms of Scots Law and are regarded as an armigerous clan today, but their proud identity and ancient history lives on in their unique tartan.
