The Sinclair Hunting tartan is a legend-filled and glorious modernization of the classic hunting style, as an offspring of the proud legacy of the Clan Sinclair. Being a clan tartan, it is meant to distinguish the members of the Sinclair family in their lineage giving them a sense of honour and tradition. It is a variation of the original design, but through misweaving and this is the very first edition that was used in the magazine of the Clansman in 1884 in witness of the undying interest in Scottish ancestry.
