Plaid du Quebec(Quebec Provincial Ancient) is a very distinctive corporate plaid yarn which has developed out of the extensive heritage and culture of the largest province in Canada. The distinctive tartan was first registered in 1965 as a mark of respect by clothing manufacturer, Rotes Limited, in honor of those Scottish immigrants who have made a significant impact on Quebec's identity more than 400 years ago.
