MacDonnell of Glengarry Modern Tartan is a traditional tartan of green color that is mixed with blue and red. This tartan is made to measure available in made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects available in 100% Acrylic Wool.

MacDonald (since MacDonnell) of Glengarry is of the same stock as MacDonald of Clanranald, in that he was the son of Ranald, son of John, 1st Lord of the Isles. The shire of Glengarry was regained by the Crown in 1427, whenceforth the MacDonalds held the shire as tenants.
