Leslie Green Ancient is a lively blue grounded tartan with tinge of green and orange. This family acquired the title of Barony of Leslie in Aberdeenshire in the 12th century. Sir Andrew Leslie became an Earl of Rothes under King James II of Scotland. This Sir Andrew was the signatory to the letter of 1329 to the Pope claiming the Independence of Scotland.
