A traditional pouch of leather, used alongside the kilt as part of Scottish Highland dress, calfskin Sporran With Antique Finish Cantle. It is used both as an ornamental and practical item, and is usually attached to a chain or strap and worn around the waist, in front of the kilt. The more elaborate leather sporrans are worn for formal events; they can feature silver or metal accents.
